In September, 2010 I was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer which had already spread to liver, lymph, bone and the brain, and I was given 6 months to 2 years to live (with chemo therapy and radiation).
Nothing outwardly happened during the prayer, but I think that was because I wasn’t feeling sick or pain at all. I was wondering how I would know that I am healed. One problem I had was I was losing weight, and I noticed that I started to eat more after I received prayer in the Healing Rooms. On my way home from Bethel, we were listening to the healing CD by Pastor Johnson, and in the message he said that sometimes healing is like a seed. I felt like it was for me. The seed of healing was planted. Back in Fresno, (and not just in Fresno) a lot of people were praying for me. The people at The River kept praying for me, too.
To make the story short, I got the latest results of the PET scan last week. It has been about 6 months since the diagnosis was given. The scan results before Christmas showed that liver, lymph, and bone were all clear. An MRI in January showed that the brain was normal. A PET scan last week showed something is still in the lung, but the result says, “No findings suggestive of disease progression are identified. No definite residual disease is identified.”
The radiologist cannot say which part is scar tissue and which part is cancer. I say praise the Lord! This is a great Easter present from heaven.
Thank you for your faith in God.
